Public Health and Park Safety Advisory
The City of Phoenix is currently gathering final stakeholder feedback regarding Ordinance G-7467, which was passed by the City Council in late 2025. This ordinance prohibits specific medical treatments within city parks and mountain preserves. While the policy was approved with an 8–1 vote, the effective date is set for March 30, 2026. The city is using the month of March to conduct community education sessions prior to enforcement.
Community Service Reminders
The Phoenix Public Library system is currently offering free and discounted tickets for the 2026 Phoenix Rising FC season to library cardholders. Residents are encouraged to visit their local branch to check availability. Additionally, the City Manager’s preliminary budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year is currently under review; public hearings regarding department allocations for libraries, parks, and fire services are expected to follow throughout the month.
