Mazak Opens Phoenix Technical Center to Expand Western U.S. Manufacturing Service, Training and Engineering Support

A new service-and-support hub opens in Phoenix
Mazak Corporation has opened a Phoenix Technical Center designed to provide service, applications engineering and training support to manufacturers across the Western United States. The company said the facility began operating with the start of 2026 and is expected to host a grand opening event later in 2026.
The Phoenix site is located at 2675 West Buckeye Road in Phoenix. Mazak described the facility as a regional base intended to bring technical resources closer to manufacturers that rely on CNC machine tools and related automation and programming capabilities.
What the facility is set up to do
Mazak said the Phoenix Technical Center includes a call center and is staffed with applications engineers as well as sales and service support personnel. The company outlined a range of customer-facing activities planned for the site, including programming classes, machine demonstrations, test cuts and machining system run-offs. Mazak also said it plans to hold regularly scheduled DISCOVER technology and education events at the Phoenix center.

Industry sectors highlighted by the company
Mazak said the Phoenix-area operation is intended to align with industrial activity in the region, pointing to semiconductor, aerospace and defense, and electronics among the sectors expected to be served by the new technical center. The company also described the facility as a place for collaboration on the development of manufacturing solutions, including support for process planning and application-specific machining work.
How it fits into Mazak’s North American footprint
The company positioned the Phoenix opening as part of an expansion of its regional service-and-support network. Mazak said the addition of Phoenix brings its network to six Technical Centers in North America, alongside eight Technology Centers. The Phoenix location joins other Mazak Technical Centers listed across the Americas, including sites in Southlake, Texas; Orlando, Florida; and Fremont, California.
Mazak said the Phoenix center is intended to strengthen local access to service and technical resources as manufacturing activity grows across the Western United States.
What comes next
Mazak said the Phoenix Technical Center is operating now and that a formal grand opening event is planned later in 2026. The company has not publicly detailed the date or agenda for that event, but described the facility as a platform for ongoing training, demonstrations and customer collaboration.
