A Major Celebration of Native American Art

Today marks the opening of the 68th Annual Indian Fair & Market at the Heard Museum. This signature Phoenix event is one of the largest and most prestigious Native American art markets in the country. More than 600 juried artists from across North America, representing over 100 tribes, are gathered in Central Phoenix to showcase and sell world-class jewelry, pottery, textiles, and sculptures. Beyond the marketplace, visitors can experience live cultural dance performances and enjoy traditional foods throughout the museum grounds from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

For those looking to enjoy the spring weather, several outdoor festivals are taking place across the Valley today:

  • High Street Arts Festival: Located in North Phoenix, this lively outdoor marketplace features more than 100 local artists and makers. From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, guests can browse handmade home decor and photography while enjoying live music and wine tastings from Willcox Wine Country.
  • Valleypalooza Community Festival: Hosted at Paradise Valley Community College, this event celebrates North Phoenix culture with a massive artisan marketplace of 70 small businesses, a curated lineup of local food trucks, and a dedicated youth zone featuring a foam party and obstacle courses.
