Public Meetings and Governance

- Loop 101 Nightly Closures: Starting tonight, February 3, 31st Avenue will be closed in both directions at the Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway). These closures will occur nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM through Friday morning to accommodate bridge widening and electrical work.
- Loop 202 Widening: Work continues on the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) widening project between Loop 101 and Gilbert Road. Drivers should expect intermittent lane shifts and reduced speed limits in the work zone.
- Water Infrastructure: The city is moving forward with its 2026-2030 Water Main Replacement Program. While most work remains in the engineering phase, residents in the Cave Creek area should note an active public comment period for the Cave Creek Water Reclamation Plant permit, open through late February.

- Measles Awareness: Health officials continue to monitor measles cases within the region following recent exposures in Maricopa and Pinal Counties. Residents who are not fully vaccinated or are experiencing symptoms such as high fever and a red, blotchy rash are advised to contact their healthcare provider.
